OVERVIEW
This video provides an initial overview of recent changes at DTF Station and explains how to locate essential setup resources, including software, videos, and documentation.
SECTION 1: IMPORTANT CHANGES AT DTF STATION
1) R2 Pro users and newer models no longer require traditional software activation codes.
2) Neostampa software is now provided with a physical dongle included in your supply bundle when purchasing a DTF Station printer or the software separately.
3) The software packaging is bright yellow and clearly marked as important.
4) Do not discard this packaging or dongle.
5) The dongle acts as both the software key and license.
6) If the dongle is lost or thrown away, printing will not be possible and a replacement will be required.
7) Follow the instructions in the quick start guide to register your software via Discord.
8) The serial number needed for registration is printed on the physical dongle.
9) Refer to the DTF Station YouTube channel for step by step Neosta tutorial videos.
10) Follow the channel to stay up to date with the latest updates and guidance.
SECTION 2: LOCATING THE QUICK START GUIDE AND RESOURCES
1) Locate the USB drive included with your printer.
2) If the USB drive is missing or incomplete, check the email from the dealer where the printer was purchased.
3) The email will contain the most up to date quick start guide URL link.
4) Open the quick start guide PDF file.
5) Click on the Important Resources section.
6) Download the quick start guide PDF.
7) Save a copy of the PDF to your desktop.
8) The quick start guide is a single page document containing QR codes and links to all required setup resources.
9) Store this file in an easily accessible location for future reference.

00:00:00 Required Tools and Crate Unpacking
INSTRUCTION STEPS
1) Gather the required tools: drill, Phillips screwdriver, pliers, scissors, flathead screwdriver, hammer, Allen wrench, and safety gloves.
2) Use a flathead screwdriver to lift the metal notches around the crate lid.
3) Use pliers to straighten each lifted notch upward.
4) Repeat this process for all notches around the crate lid.
5) Use a hammer or pliers to pry the crate lid off.
6) Carefully lift and remove the lid.
7) Push open the front panel of the crate, then the back, followed by the side panels.
8) Locate the crate protection brackets used for shipping.
9) Use a power drill to remove all screws securing the brackets.
10) Remove the brackets from the crate.
11) Inspect all unpacked components and verify all parts and supplies are present.
12) Locate and discard the small box containing the shipping dehumidifier.
13) If any items are missing, immediately contact a DTF Station representative.
14) Remove all protective wrapping from the printer.

00:04:12 Stand Assembly Preparation
INSTRUCTION STEPS
1) Ensure at least four people are available to lift the printer.
2) Locate the four stand feet marked with L and R.
3) Turn each foot stopper counterclockwise to lower the foot to the ground.
4) Loosen the Allen screws on the leg.
5) Attach the leg to the correct foot, matching L and R markings.
6) Insert two Allen screws into the side holes and tighten them.
7) Lay the foot flat and install two additional screws on the bottom.
8) Repeat this process for the opposite foot.

INSTRUCTION STEPS
1) Locate the first crossbar.
2) Attach the crossbar to the legs, ensuring it faces the leg lettering.
3) Insert all screws first, then tighten them once aligned.
4) Loosen the foot stoppers so the stand rests on wheels.
5) Rotate the stand.
6) Locate and attach the second crossbar using the same process.
7) Attach the wet cap cleaning solution bottle holder to the right leg.
8) Attach the waste ink container assembly to the back or side of the leg.

INSTRUCTION STEPS
1) Attach the media tension bar holder brackets to the top rear crossbar.
2) Insert screws but do not fully tighten.
3) Insert the media tension bar into the brackets.
4) Center the bar and tighten the screws.
5) Verify the tension bar moves freely up and down.
6) Loosen screws if movement is restricted.
7) Attach the media takeup bar holder brackets below the tension bar brackets.
8) Insert the first media takeup bar, center it, and tighten screws carefully.
9) Insert the second media takeup bar but do not tighten screws yet.
10) Locate the takeup reel motors.
11) Detach the sensor by pressing the clip and gently removing the white socket connector.
12) Set the sensors aside safely.
13) Slide the takeup reel motors onto the bar and center them.
14) Tighten the motor mounting screws.

00:12:46 Mounting the Printer to the Stand
INSTRUCTION STEPS
1) Position the stand and prepare the printer with at least four people lifting.
2) Align the stand with the printer mounting points.
3) Match the L and R markings to the front of the printer.
4) Lower the printer onto the stand, aligning holes with pins.
5) Remove transportation brackets from the bottom of the printer.
6) Insert mounting screws to secure the printer to the stand.
7) Thread all screws first, then tighten fully once aligned.
8) Attach optional monitor arm, keyboard arm, and desktop tray if desired.
9) Place the cleaning solution bottle into its holder.

00:15:33 Sensor Reinstallation and Bulk Ink System Setup
INSTRUCTION STEPS
1) Reinstall the previously removed takeup reel sensor facing the back.
2) Secure the sensor with screws.
3) Reconnect the white socket connector to the motor.
4) Route the wire under the crossbar, not over the tension bar.
5) Begin installing the bulk ink system at the rear of the printer.
6) Loosen mounting screws as shown.
7) Lift and position the bulk ink system on top of the printer.
8) Move socket connectors and circulation tubes out of the way.
9) Thread the two-pin white socket connector through the access hole.
10) Align the ink system onto the loosened screws without tightening.
11) Verify the system is not resting on any cables.
12) Connect the loose internal tube to the bulk ink tube.
13) Connect the white ink circulation and stirring motor socket connectors.
14) Match tube labels and connect each tube to the correct ink bottle valve.
15) Ensure all tubes are fully seated and airtight.
16) Confirm no tubes are kinked.
17) Verify white ink circulation tubes are connected to the pump.
18) Close the cover and tighten screws.
19) Connect the two-pin white socket connector for the LED light.
20) Close the left side cover.

00:19:16 Waste Ink and Wet Cap System Installation
INSTRUCTION STEPS
1) Open the right side cover.
2) Remove the waste ink tube holder from the Ziploc bag.
3) Route ink tubes through the bottom hole without kinks.
4) Insert tubes into the holder and tighten screws.
5) Measure and trim tubes so they slightly extend into the waste ink bottle.
6) Press the white button on the waste ink bottle to test the alarm.
7) Flip the bottle upside down to confirm the alarm sounds.
8) Leave the right cover open.
9) Route auto wet cap solution tubes into the front bottle opening.
10) Cut tube length as shown and insert into the bottle.
11) Ensure tubes reach the bottom of the bottle.

INSTRUCTION STEPS
1) Remove all shipping tape from the front cover.
2) Open the main cover and remove protective film from the carriage rail.
3) Locate and remove the print head carriage L bracket lock using an Allen key.
4) Store the L bracket in the black accessory box.
5) Connect the main power cord from the printer to the wall outlet.
6) Connect the takeup reel motor power cord.
7) Turn on the printer main power.
8) Release the emergency stop button by turning it clockwise.
9) Verify the printer screen powers on and displays idle status.
10) If the screen does not turn on, recheck the emergency stop.
11) If power issues persist, stop and contact DTF Station support.

4) Microsoft Surface Pro is considered a tablet PC and may not run the program properly.
5) Recommended operating system is Windows 11 or later.
6) CPU should be Intel i5 or i7 with a minimum speed of 2.6 GHz.
7) Computer must have at least 500 GB of free storage.
8) An SSD is recommended over an HDD.
9) Minimum RAM requirement is 8 GB, though higher is preferred.

1) Locate the Quick Start Guide PDF from the USB thumb drive or from your dealer.
2) Double-click the Quick Start Guide PDF.
3) Click on Important Resources.
4) Download the DTF Station Pilot software.
5) Software versions may vary depending on printer model.
6) Locate the serial number sticker on your printer.
7) If the printer was manufactured before December 2024, firmware and motherboard upgrades may be required.
8) Contact DTF Station technicians to confirm compatibility.
9) Download the motherboard upgrade package and firmware configuration files if needed.
10) Temporarily disable antivirus software or whitelist the installer to prevent interference.
11) Confirm the download in your Downloads folder.
12) Verify that your Ethernet cable is connected, as the printer will be connected to the computer in later steps.
13) If using a laptop without an Ethernet port, prepare an Ethernet adapter.

1) Double-click the downloaded .exe installation file.
2) Follow the on-screen installation instructions.
3) Accept the license agreement.
4) Allow installation of Microsoft Visual C++ and related packages.

6) If installation appears stuck, check the taskbar for hidden pop-up prompts.
7) Once installation is complete, rename the DTF Station Pilot desktop icon to match your printer model (example: R1).

9) A blinking red connection symbol indicates the printer is not connected.
10) A red or yellow light bulb icon indicates system errors.

10) Enter a local IP address that matches the server IP except for the last two digits.
11) Do not use 10 as the final digits.

16) If parameters fail to load, update firmware and motherboard.

6) Click Save, then OK.
7) Close the pop-up window.

1) Insert the Neostampa dongle into your computer.
2) The dongle must be inserted to open and print from Neostampa.
3) Wait until the dongle light turns green.
4) Launch Neostampa Delta.
5) Click Yes on any system prompts.
6) If launching for the first time, allow time for dongle installation to complete.
7) When prompted, enter your account details and click Continue.
8) Check your email for a verification code sent from neostampa or inedit.com.
9) Enter the verification code and click Continue.
10) Enter your printer details and any additional printers.
11) In this example, select Prestige R2 Pro and add Prestige XL2.
12) Click Request Trial.
13) Your screen will confirm successful activation even if a one-month period is shown.
14) If the dongle fails to validate, remove all USB devices except the dongle, restart the computer, and reopen Neostampa.
15) Click Continue Trial, then click OK.
16) In the printer driver dialog, click Add.
17) Select DTF Station, choose your printer driver, and click Install.
18) Press OK.
19) Select TCP IP port as the connection type.
20) Click Close.
21) Click Help, then Activation Keys to confirm license validity.
22) Click Info to confirm the dongle is active and view expiration details.

5) Download the required print modes. Example modes include 720x1800 and 720x2400.
6) Large files may take time to download.
7) Once downloaded, open the folder.
8) Right-click each file and select Extract All.
9) Move extracted folders to a safe location such as the desktop.
10) Open Neostampa and click New Job.
11) Select DTGDTF as the document type.
12) Select your printer and click OK.
13) Click the three-dot icon to open Scheme Manager.
14) Click Add and navigate to the extracted scheme folder.
15) Double-click the CPS file.
16) If a Printing Mode Not Supported error appears, verify the settings.
17) Select Five Color mode.
18) Select the correct quality such as 720x800.
19) Ignore pass count.
20) Open Mode Colors and change Orange to White.
